Erasing pencil and pen marks

I have many old publications that have pencil and pen marks. Anyone aware of any "magic" eraser that I might want to try?

And its actually called a Magic Eraser
Look for them at Staples or Office Max/Depot
And since I'm on a roll... Opinions appreciated about ironing ( with steam setting) ...yes I'm serious....paper folds in 75 year old newspapers that exhibits foxing.

I think we are only talking about publications and not cards
I have purchased publications and postcards at flea markets and antique shows and invariably the dealers don't see anything wrong with writing the asking prices for those items in pencil. The Magic Erasers do a great job of removing such price tags unless a lot of pressure was applied with the pencil.
I have about 400 issues sporting news (1928-38) with the name of the original owner (subscriber) sloppily written in pencil. I wouldn't want to erase if it leaves a bleached out area since there is foxing.
I don't want to iron 400 issues, but while I am watching TV...it might be better than trolling ebay
