Steve Hart is A++ Dealer

This is a followup to the Bond Bread cards I had listed on Ebay but took them off when I was informed the cards were trimmed
I purchased them from the baseball card exchange, steve hart
He called me today & I explained my preidcament & is going to give me a full refund
A real class act
no wonder he has 100% positive feedback on ebay

too bad so many other sellers on ebay have no idea what true customer service is

I don't think I did business with him before, but I certainly would not hesitate to buy from him.
It seems he focuses on customer service with the attitude that if he treats you right, you will always come back and even bring in some friends. Many businesses do not practice this model. Alot of businesses do not care to make the customer happy if a problem occurs. They don't seem to care about their reputation either.
I only found a handful of businesses that go out of their way for the customer, but that's it.

  • FWIW, in the last few weeks I've probably bought $600-700 worth of packs and boxes from Steve. 84 Fleer cello, 81 and 83 Topps vending, 90 leaf, 85 Topps cello packs (pulled a Marino and Elway in the same pack!), some 87/88 Fleer packs.

If you haven't bought from him before, everything is always shipped same day, next day. I usually get my order in 4 or 5 days (Illinois to Ca). Always well packed. Individual packs are bubbled wrapped, taped well, never a problem with them sliding around out, falling out, getting dinged or anything.

Never a problem with any pack I've bought.

The boxes that are suppose to be factory wrapped, are (90 leaf, upper deck, etc).

Even with Dave and Adams or Kruk Cards, I wouldn't be so quick to spend more than a few hundred dollars. They have quality products, but I dont get the same feeling ordering from them as I do from Steve Hart. Esp with vending boxes, where you don't know if they're case fresh, whether they've been bounced around, who knows.

A+++ all the way around. He certainly earns all the business he gets.

    We're not worthy!!

For every bad card transaction we can always count on our Steve Harts and Mark Murphys to come through. Really guys these two deserve alot of credit with keeping integrity in our hobby. If something is wrong they always make it right.
  • zippy-- glad to hear your getting a refund and you followed up on those cards. Glad to hear, as the cards were mis-represented and toooo many buyers get taken every day and most of the time I get told to basically jump off a cliff when I try to "help" on ebay. Heres to you and Steve image

  • Yes it's refreshing to find reputable dealers
That's why I prefer to deal with people with a solid reputation even if I have to pay more
what good is a "great deal" if later you have a problem & you lose $$$
Buying on ebay is a total krap shoot if you buy from a unknow seller
Yet this happen 1000's of times a day
then we read all the horror stories later on here & elsewhere
I search ebay daily & bid on less than 10% of the items I'm interested in due to

    Poor or low feedback
    Poor scans
Terrible descriptions or worse yet NO description of item for sale
Poor communications......you ask a Question & they reply but don't answer your question
Terms of Sale with Draconian rules
    Obscene shipping fees

Yet these "morons" still find lemmings to bid on their auctions

Remember.....There is NO Santa Claus in the hobby
If it seems to good to be true, maybe it is

Steve Hart is the only guy I will buy raw wax or racks from. Period.
