Just wanted to share this really cool card

Keith ( SoFlPhillyFan) sent me this card a while back. I finally got around to sending it in to be graded. I figured 8 but it scored a 7. The card is 5 x 7 and is a box topper for 2000 Stadium Club. Its an insert called Tunnel Vision. These cards are super glossy and fantastic to look at. The grade really doesnt bother me too much but the fact that its behind the additional plastic "sheet" does. It really cuts down on the eye appeal.

This is the first time seeing T-3 slabs in person. These things are huge! You can row a boat with them image

That card looks killer. Great colors, you can almost see the fear on the redskins defenders as Em slashes through them
  • Glad you enjoy it Matt. I would check the corners and maybe resub. Maybe the fold confused the grader.

For the life of me I don't remember sending a large format card in the batch I sent you. But we both missed that it was a fold out!

I did bust some 2000 Stadium Club with a bunch of other 98-03 assorted boxes from BBCE, so maybe I just don't recall that card. A lot of weird stuff like the UD3 and Holografix.

If someone else claims to be the contributor I would take his word.

But hey, you get stuff from all over so we can all take a little credit!

Cool card Matt and nice of Keith to send it to you - we have some very thoughtful and generous people here!

It looks like a 'freight train' is heading right for Bowles!

Here ya go Keith. Maybe this will jog your memory image

You sent it "un-opened" and it sat that way for months untill I decided to do a tall-boy sub. I then realized it was a fold out.

  • Hey, wow, yeah. Now I remember.

    Does that sound convincing? image

I have a vague recollection, but then again I can't keep track of my own collection without a spreadsheet.

My brain is turning to mush. Too many long days and weekend shifts lately.

I thought the pic looked familiar.

Thats strange they used an image from 1990 or 1991 on a 2000 card.

I think both guys ending up feeling that hit (although Emmit looks like he is dishing it out too). Vibrant beauty.

"My heart is as big as the world." says Smith.

Where to start with this one . . .
  • Hey Matt -

The wife tells me that a batch of cards came in the mail today from you. She mentioned a couple of McNabbs and a pack of other Eagles.

Wish I were there to see them! At the moment it looks like I won't get home again until Thanksgiving.

Thanks! I can't wait to check out these cards in person.

You'll probably have more coming your way around Xmas! image

No problem Keith. I busted a box of 93 Pinnacle and some other stuff. I just put all the Eagles aside for you. I must have got a decent batch. Pinnacle was always tough due to the black borders on the 92 and 93 sets.
