The Native American Card Belongs to the 33 Goudey Gum set I believe and is highly collectable. Im not for sure of the second and I will check on the date of the first as well. Nice find............rob

the second card was issued in the UK. Be careful when buying cards from the uk conditions are not as important as they are in the STATES.....and reprints abound.

  • I got them both for 5 bucks, so I don't guess I got burned. He had another couple of the Indian Goudey cards, but someone had burned the edges around them, I guess trying to make them look alot older than they are, I passed on those!!

  • It looks like the Garbo is part of a 32 card set issued sometime between 1932 and 1939.

Hard to read the back, but if the Garbo card is number 8 of a series of 30, it is part of the Cinema Stars set that was issued 4 times - 1929, 1931 and twice in 1933 (according to Troy Kirk's website of movie cards).

BTW - I think you made out for 5 bucks. Nice job.
