have to ever broken something your spouse loves dearly and got rid of the evidence and pretend you dont know anything about it when they notice its missing????

Im a very focused collector of cards from 1909 - 2012...LOL

    i have,ive broke stuff and pretended i never knew it existed,that way they think they're nuts and yer not lol,it works sometimes-what lamp
    the lamp thats been in the corner for 20 years

    You guys must be young turks...

    Go clean, dude...fess up NOW - take it like a man and get it over with. The longer you wait, the worse it will get if she ever finds out. Women are like CSI, they'll eventually find out who did it, and how. In the meantime it will be hanging over your head. Plus, if you wait and she finds out later you're going to have this whole issue of "I don't know if I can trust you..."

    As one heading rapidly towards 50 years on the planet, please, I beg you, for your own sanity, come clean!

    Don't throw this at her when she's mad at you, but the Buddha did say "attachment to 'things' leads to suffering". Of course in this case, I think you're going to be suffering...

    I agree with Moosedog. Come clean right away. Also if you hated the item in question, be very sympathetic and show her how sorry you are. If she is at all understanding, you will be fine, if not, at least you won't have a guilty conscience.
