a lttle love for the USPS

Normally there are posts bashing the post office so I thought I would share this.
I mailed a package (bubble mailer with 3 cards) first class on Tuesday from Va to PSA and it arrived Thursday. Pretty darn quick for $1.80.

    Today is day 5 and I haven't gotten my cards back that shipped on 9/10

    Just had a 1st class parcel deliver in 2 days across country.

    Back in the 1960s the USPS used to have little sayings with the post marks. One of those was "Mail Early In the Day". I have found that if I drop off my mail before work in the AM stuff seems to get delivered a day or two faster than one would normally expect. So I still follow that advice.

    I once received a package in just 1 day after I mailed it... yes, it was delivered to me the next day.

    I've been expecting an eBay package from the town over and it's already been 5 business days since shipment. Last week I received a 1st class package from a West Coast board member to Georgia in 2 business days. It's a funny system.
