O/T Yankee Squirrel

For the last few weeks there has been a squirrel hanging around Yankee stadium , he hangs out right on the foul pole in the outfield .
Last night they were playing in Toronto , but took a live shot from the empty stadium in the Bronx and the squirrel was spread eagle on the pole as usual .
Last night Michael Kay said we have to name him and asked if people wanted to E mail in to name him , so i sent an E-mail to Michael Kay at YES and told him , the squirrel seems to have been hanging around since about the time of Phil Rizzuto's passing, so I asked him to name him Scooter .
Tonight watching the game he says it on television , he got an E-mail from a fan thinking they should name him Scooter !!
I almost dropped dead , my son was like HOLY COW, he just called him Scooter dad !!
I thought it was kind of ironic that my son said holy cow too because he don't even know who Phil Rizzuto was , never even heard him speak .
I just thought that was so friggin cool . . . He chose the name I picked for the squirrel , but then what better name could there really be for such a creature .

I was so blown away , that was just too damn cool , I sent him another E-mail to thank him for picking Scooter for the name .
I even called my mother up . . . .Jeeeeeze , the smallest things amaze me sometimes LOL
I loved listening to Scooter call the game too .
I wonder where the little guy will go when the stadium is torn down ?
I wonder if he will just go to the new stadium, that would be so strange .
I really wish they weren't tearing it down though , there is so much history in that building , I really don't want them to tear it down .
