From VCP, last 5 have sold for an average of $199.59.
8/28/07 $188.05
7/3/07 $185.55
6/15/07 $202.50
6/10/07 $211.11
4/22/07 $210.72
4/1/07 $201.72
3/25/07 $159.10
3/12/07 $180.60
2/25/07 $224.72
1/12/07 $171.17
Not usually one to thread-crap, but $500 is kind of ridiculous.
i am willing to trade for 6 rolls of 90% halves.
8/24/07 - Goodwin - $670
6/28/07 - Ebay - $460
4/22/07 - Ebay - $441
3/11/07 - Ebay - $438
1/3/07 - Ebay - $417
11/28/07 - Ebay - $406
Also, here are the closing prices of the last 3 BVG 9s Ebay.
8/12/07 - Ebay - $440
6/24/07 - Ebay - $406
3/10/07 - Ebay - $450
Asking $500 for an 8.5, when a 9.0 can be had for $50 less seems a bit much.

I will send to PSA once they have a price discount and hopefully they will have a more efficient company by then as I wrote several persons in the company and pleaded to the CEO that it's about time that the company begins to ship several different PO items in the same package.
If I am to send in the brett, two psa graded cards that i feel need a review and 4 ungraded cards of low value, I'm looking at $45 for return shipping and insurance, not to mention the grading costs and sending the package. a nightmare!
If psa ever decides to run an efficient workplace related to the CUSTOMER needs, then I'd be paying $30 less by having a single package sent to me.
how difficult is it to send a mere 7 CARDS in one package that belong to a combined 3 POs? It shouldn't be hard at all.

I'll go for 5 rolls of 90% halves for the 75 mini brett then (equivalent to $420). I am open.
Make it $420 via paypal. I have just 12 cards left and then I am done with this hobby so I can spend more time writing a book. A few non-graded cards I will just give to a local card shop...maybe I'll ask him to get me a $2 burrito as he's near a tacqueria.
And if one wants the rose and ryan cards COMBINED, I'll go for 26 - 90% silver halves or $113. the ryan really should be closer to an 8, but i know psa grades in integral values, so I guess it's too bad that there are horrible-looking poorly off-centered psa 8 cards that fetch more $ than my psa 7 one as buyers often pay too much attention to the number and less so to the appearance of the card. Maybe it'd be better in a BGS holder with 7.5 or send it in for a 20% chance of getting an 8. The rose card is a solid 8.
[A card centered at 35/65 can lack so much appeal, don't all here agree?] Now, look above and check out the centering on the ryan card and tell me what they'd rather LOOK at...an off-centered 8 or a nicely centered 7 with corners that just barely meets or barely missed the standard for an 8? In my opinion, One should see the card and figure out a price somewhere between a 7 and 8 grade. This si done all the time in coin dealing and maybe this is still too new for cards for people to check out cards and use the grade as a guide, but not the end-all in determining price.
how's this for a deal now?

But it's not a 9. That would be like someone selling a PSA 9 Henderson for 5K because it "may" cross to a PSA 10.
5 rolls of 90% silver halves is also way too high for this card, even higher tha $500, as a 90% silver half dollar roll goes for over $100 on ebay. Two rolls would be more like it.
