Second is Herb Score, third is Ray Boone.
  • Pretty sure you got Duke Snider under 'Louisville Slugger' and Wayne Garland Dave Nelson and Mike Paul on there.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

Looking for Al Hrabosky and any OPC Dave Campbells (the ESPN guy)
  • Also Bobby Wine

With all those Indians, Id be more inclined to think that is Duke Sims, not Duke Snider. >>

On second glance I think you're right. Scrath the Snider, it's Duke Sims

Snider starts his "D" from the bottom and works his way up - the one on this bat is different. Also sort of weird to have so many Tribe sigs on a Brewers bat.

Max Alvis is in there too.
  • rube26105rube26105 Posts: 10,225 ✭✭
that 10 of 13, maybe the brewers bat was cheap or something?it has a funnel type end that flares outh hold place instead of the thin round going to a bigger circle,

Post a pic of the Louisville Label and the year can be narrowed down. I think the model numbers were only on the end label 1977-79 though.
