My grades are back from what I sent in at the National. Very Very happy. Wow all came back what we thought except the Gibson. 71 Stargell is what I was hoping for. I never expect nines so me and my dad are just floored. 1st real vintage nine we have gotten graded ourselves.

Great sub. The '69 Gibson is tough and should bring you several hundred $ if you sell it.

Congratulations on your grades. The '62 Mathews is a pretty tough card too, like the Gibson.

Did you buy those raw at the National or did you already have them?

Thanks all, we don't submit much. The Gibson was in an SGC holder and we thought undergraded. Popped it out 3 years ago and showed it to a dealer who proceeded to really hammer it. We walked away thinking we had a 7 but he did offer to buy. We only paid 27 for it so we kept it in a card saver for all these years. The 62 Mathews and 71 OPC Stargell were Ebay purchases raw. The Foxx was in an SGC holder and is beautiful but has a crease on the back. Too bad I forgot to send in our 49 Bowman Schoendist as we were hot on this submission. I don't have a scan of the Gibson but will post when we get it.

No unfortunately it was a friend. I hope he was just being overly cautious on his part but dealers hafta make money and it wouldn't be the first time a dealer tried to do the old your card sucks so bad I can't believe I am paying this much but I am really going to get it regraded game. We had a PSA 7 55 Ted that became an 8 from the same guy.
