Good source of CS I's or II's?

I made a mistake and bought a bunch of card holders for a PSA submission and got the wrong size (a brand other than Card Saver). Can someone provide a link to their favorite online source of Card Save Is or IIs?!

Thanks a lot!

I have had good luck with the prices at Hot Flips.

And I compared them with BCW supplies.

Are you submitting regular size cards to PSA? I will be glad to send you a stack - no charge - they're not cardsaver brand but the proper size.

Thanks for the help, Mike! What?! You're not subbing cards any more?? If your holders are just gathering dust, I'd be glad to take them off your hands. Wonder what I could trade you for them?? Do you have a set of the 1968 baseball game inserts since you're into the gaming memorabilia?? I've got 6 or 7 sets -- they're well used from when I was a kid playing the game with my bros and cousins -- so they're not in top condition...

    Hoof,

I just sold one of those 68 game sets on ebay 2 weeks ago. It was in pretty nice shape. A few (not all) could have been submitted. I'm not into the set - it sold for about $40.00. The Mantle had some writing on the back - Rose, Clemente & Mays were all very nice. Aaron and both Robinson's had small surface creases.

Just bought 1000 cards saver 1s and 1000 soft penny sleeves from columbiasportscard last week. It was only $55 with insurance and shipping from California to Massachustts. I don't think you can do much better than that.

Edit: I paid 6/16 and they are here now 6/21. Shipped priority mail in a fixed weight box. Makes the deal even a little better.

I've always bought from Cardboard Gold. Just bought a case of CS1 (2000 total) for $117.45 delivered to CA. I don't know if that's the best price you can find but they have an easy to use web ordering system, and I received the shipment in 3 working days.

Last time when I bought a bunch of 800 ct. boxes and stuff - I think the semi-rigids came to about 70 bucks with shipping - or about 3.5 cents a piece.

    Grading Company's preferred holder sizes: - standard 3" x 4" - large 3 1/2" x 4 1/2" (1/2" lip top) - 100 units per pack quantity pricing per pack of 100: 1..... $6.00($0.06 ea) 5..... $4.50($0.045 ea) 10.... $3.50($0.035 ea) 20.... $3.00($0.03 ea) 100+.. $2.50($0.025 ea)

It's way easier to get a card out of the 3.5x5" semi-rigid.

  • I prefer Cardboard Gold. I went on EBay looking for CS 2's and 4's and the price difference was enough for me to go to CG.

I'll second the vote for Columbia sports cards. I've ordered from them about 5 times this year so far and never had a problem.

Just got 200 from them for $15 delivered (13 cents ea.). I know it is not the best "value" but I'm a small guy and don't want to have to worry about storing the extra ones!!!

    'Hacker,

After I posted that offer to stone (he's already got a set, btw), I did an eBay search and found that a set could go for over $30 in less than stellar condtion. Guess I'm going to have to unload a set or two for some extra PayPal purchases...

    Thanks for the tip!
  • I seem to have no problem with Hotflips and the pricest are fine.

    Hey y'all,

I've bookmarked all the other supply sites, too. I really appreciate the help. I knew I could count on this forum.

I noticed that Cardboard Gold has the trademark to the Card Saver name. I've often wondered who owned that...

I have to agree with columbiasportscards, as they are blazingly fast and packaged better than anyone on ebay!!
  • Is columbia sports cards got a website or is it just an EBay store?

I just got the same deal, but if my math is correct, I think it works out to 7.5 cents each. Not bad at all.
  • columbiasportscards $50 bucks + free shipping for 1000 CS I.
  • Ok, I just looked on their EBay store and didn't see anything in regards to free shipping. Do they have a website?

Columbia Sports Card is currently selling the same case of CS1 for $102.95 on their website (www.columbiasportscard.com). I don't think you can beat that price anywhere. They also seem to ship faster than Cardboard Gold does.

    Yes, their site is www.columbiasportscard.com.

(Maybe they should pay me for marketing them image )
