perkdog, i ususally don't try and advertise but I had to make this point know to others on the board that may have overlooked this seller. His sight has scans (clear and crisp) of the front and back of each graded card your looking to purchase. I wrote to them last evening at around 10pm and he immediately emailed me back. these guys are sharp...........check out www.redzonesportscards.com I think this is right, if not just type in google the name red zone sportscards and it comes up.

Oh its all good, to be honest I dont advertise for dealers much here myself but they are deserving of it IMO, the selection is getting better and better every week and they offer very fair prices. I think there was a thread on them here not too long ago and believe it or not they got some mixed reviews but IMO they are top notch.

Cool, I will check it out. Do you know any other sellers that may not be Mainstream (advertised in SMR, Beckett, etc) that sell reasonably priced PSA vintage?

Omegalm sportscards on ebay has a smaller selection but is A++++ to deal with and his prices are very reasonable as well. I have known him for a few years now and he is TOP SHELF, worth checking out.

I gave Redzone a look based on comments here. Found a couple of nice high end cards that I had questions about and sent them two separate emails. This was on Thursday evening and have never heard back. I dont understand peoples business model that dont respond to emails when you have people with money to burn.

  • I have known Tommy at Red Zone here in upstate NY for almost 15 years. Tom travels all over the eastern half of the country finding all those neat cards that make you drool at reasonable prices. He has someone who mans the office and IMHO does a damn good job answering your questions and sending additional scans of stuff. Tom does not set up at any shows nationwaide. All sales private and online.

With respect to Omegalm, Dave Kjeer is a great dealer out of FL who is also a personal friend. He also is on the set registry for 52 large Bowman FB. I think he is #1 for this ultra tough and expensive set. Dave does the Ft Washington (Reading) show as well as Chantilly and the National. Get out to these events and put a face with a name.

To all Board members, if someone doesn't get back to you that afternoon or the next day, maybe just maybe, they are 1) on the road or at a show, 2) took a day off, 3) have a personal issue in their family, etc. Try not to have a negative comment in face of all the other positive ones. Thanks.

Skinsfan...can you send me your email address to jeff58@sbcglobal.net. Would like to talk further with you about your comment before I plunk down some money on a number of cards.

    Thanks Jeff

I believe this is where the negative comments were regarding when Red Zone was a topic here awhile back. I NEVER buy Raw cards from anyone, obviously that is just my personal choice so I cant comment on them as far as their Raw cards go but again I had very possitive dealings with them with their Graded material.

Me neither, graded only. I know nothing of the raw.........

Agree with the above. They are great for graded cards, have heard some not so great stories about their raw cards.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
  • BOTTOM LINE THEY GRADE ANYTHING AND I MEAN ANYTHING WORTH GRADING.
THE REST IS EX TO EXMINT STUFF THE TRY TO UNLOAD IN SETS ,LOTS ECT THAT VERY EVERY PERSON I KNOW WHO HAS BOUGHT RAW FROM THEM HAS BEEN WAY OVER GRADED.

They are the kings of grouping a handfull of near mintish cards showing in a scan into a set and the rest of the set is junk.

Jeff if you want my email it is jelly_man@msn.com but i cant say much more then i just did.

There are very few ebay sellers that sell nice raw stuff and a few more that are at least very close to the avg grade they give it.
And then there still are a good handfull who sell nice raw but it is still over graded by about a grade.

RED ZONE is not one of them way over graded raw
