Worth leaving negative feedback on a $1 card, $4 purchase

Some jerk has failed to pay for one of those .99 cents auction, that never did bid up.
So is it worth it to give the negative feedback over, and more important, is it worth me dropping from 100% feedback, in case he gives me a negative back???

Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

If he negs you for that, appeal it to ebay and say that he never intended to pay for the item but bid for the sole purpose of leaving you negative feedback.
I thought about buying something from myself before and negging me with an interesting notation as to why, just so idiots wont feel they have an upperhand by destroying my perfect feedback

<< <i>Better to just file the NPB. If he gets those from 3 sellers, they are supposedf to kick them off ebay.

I thought that if you filed a NPB on a buyer and eBay found in your favor, that they would refund your final value fees and the buyer couldn't leave feedback - negative or positive. Is this correct or am I wrong?
Did the unpaid strike and still was left a negative. Oh well, popped my 100% feedback! Down to 99.9 % now. If the guy would have replied to any of my 5 emails, I might have let it go. But sometimes, I think people hold the 100% feedback people hostage. Might be better to be at 99.9%. The buyer dropped from 100% to 99.3%.
This is what the feedback system was meant for, to provide others with the information on people. This guy didn't pay. Maybe next time, he will win a $1,000 item and not pay for it. At least he can't keep messing with all the sellers.
I am guessing you filed and at the same time negged him, that was a mistake if you are going to neg them wait until you close the UPI then neg them. You get the credit as soon as you close the dispute.
