Need some autograph advice!

I'm looking at a card on ebay, it's a 2004 rookie card and supposedly signed. The guy isn't really a star, but he played a week or 2 locally in AA and beat the crap out of the ball.

I found a card of his where the auto is significantly different from all the others I've seen. If somebody besides him signed it, would it be worth more because it's an error, or worth less because it's not a good sig. It's already slabbed so I don't have to worry about that.

Sorry for the stupid question but the next 2004 card I buy will be my first 2004 card. Thanks in advance!

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's worth less... as in worthless. When you say slabbed, do you mean by PSA/DNA?

I agree with Elemenopeo, if the card is signed by someone other than the person pictured, it is worthless.
    Looking for Carl Willey items.

thanks guys - it's in a bgs holder, I think 9.5. I've seen the same card with 9.5 and also the side grade of 10 for the auto. A member here has it listed and I want that card but with your advice I'll get that card with his signature on it instead of probably his girlfriend's version of his signature.

    thanks again!
