In a matter of 6 weeks you buy a
PSA 8 Ray Nitschke Rookie, PSA 8 Willie Wood Rookie, PSA 8 Hank Jordan Rookie and a PSA 10 Stadium Club Favre Rookie. Then to top that off you buy about $500 worth of HOF Rookie cards and Packer team sets to keep your sets going. Then you send in your PSA renewal free grades and they tell you your Favre Exquiste is too thick and needs an addtional shipping charge of $12.55.
And the worst part is my 1997 Grand Am just puked for the last time. Just got back from the dealer. 2004 Saab 9-3.
I'll talk to all of you in 3-6 months.

at least you went out on a bang!! I had the same thing happen to me with a recent $13/5 day sub. Last time I sent one in there was a semi-thick card that they had would have slabbed before in a regular holder. But it came back in the new thicker slabs, but they didnt ask me to break that sub up. Now they did with this one. I as emailed saying I agree to the change but that it seems confusing as to how sometimes they dont break up the sub and other times they do. I didnt hear back about that question yet. Probably wont.
ps, i am heading up to the game tomorrow. cross your fingers for no injuries.

88 fleer update. Man its been tough for the braves the last 2 nights huh? I went to the wed. when Bonds hit 759 as well as last night and tonight. Brandon Webb was just dealin tonight.

Thanks, I did my research a little bit before I bid and that price was a few bucks cheaper than previous auctions. It sucks that the same weekend we play the D-backs, NY plays Washington and Philly plays Pitt. Oh well. Renteria gets off yhe DL tomorrow right?

....you lie and email Upper Deck and say your pack was missing a card.
....you do a NPN with postage due.
....you ask that "beggar" coming towards you 1st for a quarter. ( I did this once. Guy was notorious for this and always loitering around my job and I saw him at a local Target so I asked him 1st for money. His look was priceless.
....you think "hmm, I could list my 1988 Ellis Burks PSA 9 and get $1"
....your montly budget for entertainment is $10. PSA message boards and bottle.
.....you flip a card and put the BIN at $1 over your cost.
