Digicat, I assume you mean when you're actually paid for the card you sell, remove it. I have had requests to remove a card after an auction ends with no payment. Theoretically, you're not supposed to enter a card in the registry until you have it in your possession.
also, there have been times when the registered owner is not the current owner so don't assume the emails from collectors universe actually reach the person it is intended to reach.

Yes, been there, done that. I'm guessing the previous owner is on vacation and isn't checking their email, which is fine, but it leaves an OCD nutjob like me twitching as I see one card missing from my registry.

By Politely do you mean with a flying knee> I have been guilty once or twice of it myself. Especially if I have a card in duplicate and sell one, well it could be the one registered in my set.
This is kind of interesting, but when i buy cards off line from someone, I like them to keep the cards in their registry until I get them. Its kind of a cheap insurance. If the package gets lost, or stolen, and the thief tries to add them, or sold them to someone who tries to add them, it will come up as an email.
Im not sure if PSA would cooporate with the police for a stolen package and someone trying to add stolen cards to a registry, but I would hope they would.
If I buy something from ebay or auction, it should be removed from a registry after the auction closes.
