Awesome 52 Topps Jackie Robinson

It's hard to believe this card is already over $500. Are people that hard up for a copy that has any eye appeal they will buy this? The card is wavy on almost all borders or it has water damage. I can't believe the scanner could make the edges that distorted. There if you look at the back you can see the wavy cut.

I'm willing to bet that was cracked out of a holder.

That is one of the most suspect looking cards I think I have seen.

My thoughts exactly. From the looks of the fisheye-esque lens used to take the pictures, it almost looks miscut.

    I'll pass on that one......

  • let's see....water damage, wavy edges, shallow surface dimples, strong evidence of being trimmed, $250 card at best if PSA AUTH. Why don't these kinds of buyers ever bid on my stuff.

    Crack that slab!
    Give the card a trim!
    Smoke up some crack!
Make sure you scan the back!

When a problem card's too long
    You must trim it!
Take several hits from the old bong!
    You must trim it!
You don't care that it's wrong!
    You must trim it!

    Now trim it!
    Into shape!
    Shape it up!
    Edges straight!
    Go forward...
    PSA!
    Try to detect it!
    They're not that great!
    Now trim it!
    Trim it good!

Bidder number 7 is a lil shaky if you ask me. 3+ years on ebay with a feedback of 9?

88% means it has 1 negative too.

Not sure I see a stain like mentioned.

I'd pass on this card though.
