Funny Card (sorry, wrong forum)

I just came across this card again when it fell out of an old book I had. I guess I was using it as a bookmark. Gave me a good laugh when I really looked at it... considering I was a huge Mets fan in '86.

Think Upper Deck did this on purpose????

    The funny thing with Buckner - fans forgave him very quickly around here in Boston, and after he went to the Royals, he returned to the Sox and was a fan favorite here, routinely getting huge ovations in 1990. It was only after Dan Shaughnessy drudged up the whole "Curse" crap that Buckner became on the receiving end of all this grief. No one remembers that he was quickly forgiven here after the incident. It was that curse junk that caused him to have to move to Idaho to get away from everyone.

    Ahh...what a relief. When I read the title I was expecting to see the malnourished Barry Bonds card again.

    I dont know if UD did it on purpose, but it is funny. I dont recall ever seeing that card before. Thanks for sharing.
