    AGREED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • That's a tough call. Hamilton is a five tool player that got rapped up in substance abuse and Ankiel failed as a pitcher and worked his way back. I go with Hamilton as addiction is a tough road to hoe and he still suceeded in the MLB.

    Slightly Medicated Red

    Easy call.

Rick Ankiel = Baseball Comback; Worse Case Scenario = No Baseball
Josh Hamilton = Life Comeback; Worse Case Scanario = Possibly Death?

    What's more important?

Harold Reynolds and the ESPN interns! I heard that was a feel good.

I think Ankiel is a better feel good story than Hamilton.

Hamilton got wrapped up in sutbstance abuse and that was his own damn fault.

Ankiel had some trouble on the baseball field, went down, adjusted from a pitcher to an outfielder, and now he is back up and blasting HRs. Much more impressive than some punk who decided drugs were more important than the game, and finally decided to do what he should have done from the start.

I don't feel sorry for someone who decided to do drugs and had it backfire.

I assume you have never known anyone who truly is an addict. I don’t know Josh Hamilton, but I find it hard to believe that he sat around and thought it would be a good idea to become addicted to drugs and completely F his life up. Josh Hamilton deserves a lot more credit for staying clean, forget baseball.
