grading question

I know most people dont like qualifies (oc) but what does it mean? looking at the pop report.. it goes 8. 8q, 9, 9q,10
does a 9q meet all other 10 standards but has a qualifier?? so it gets bumped a notch???

    No, it means that it meets all the 9 standards and has a qualifier. The set registry counts a 9q as a 7. Usually I'd rather have the 7. But I've seen some examples of very nice cards with qualifiers on this board.
