MorrellMan--need info on the Funny Foldees

I posted on here a while ago about the Funny Foldees. I know MorrellMan was able to give me some info and I'm sure others here can as well. Here are my questions, as I'm really enjoying these cards.

When exactly were they produced--1955, or is that a myth?

How many are in the set?

How were they sold?

Does PSA grade them, and if so how do I find them in a pop report?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Hey Paul. Here's the link to the thread regarding the Funny Foldees. There seems to be no one who can step forward and say what year they collected these cards, but they could have been issued as early as 1949 probably in gum packs. I see no reason why PSA wouldn't grade them, but you rarely see them in high grade. Once the perforations are broken, they don't grade well. I have a graded near-set of the Valentine Foldees and I have never seen Funny Foldees that resemble the condition of the latter issues.

Edited to add: there are 66 cards in the set. They are grouped in different colors; the side with the set name has the two end pieces in the same color as the center piece on the other side; the center piece of the front is bordered with two strips (top and bottom) each being a different color. Those colors are also used to border the two end pieces on the reverse, one color on each side. The bordering colors are in parentheses - I don't have the complete set, but, from what I do have, I know the following (question mark represents educated guess):
    #1 - 11 (?) = yellow (blue/red)
    #12(?) - 22 = blue (red/yellow)
    #23 - 33 = red (yellow/green)
    #34 - 43 = orange (yellow/blue)
    #44 - at least 52 = green (yellow/red)
    the rest - 66 = again yellow (green/orange)
