    Where was this?

    No previous sales on eBay at $25, unless the title was REALLY messed up.
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    Man, that's rought, Ripken looks like a PSA 8 for sure. Should have sniped this one!

    I bet that is one that gets lost in the mail after he sees the closing price. I got a Papelbon last year when it was hot and he spelled the name wrong, wouldn't you know it got lost in the mail and he sent me an email something like "Wow imagine that, I will refund your payment right now."

    Yeah, that's a $75 set, although it concerns me that the Ripken isn't being protected and has been handled by the seller. I'll bet there's some moderate corner wear. Still, I would've gone as high as $60 on it.

    The one on the left has a print defect so I don't know if it could get a 9.

    My guess is the one on left gets an 8PD; the other gets an 8. Hard to say from just a scan.

    That little fisheye isn't enough for a PD qualifier. I think they are both 8s.
