Need some help from my friends

School is about to start and I would like to ask any board members who have any Basketball cards that they don't want to send them to me. My sister is a teacher in downtown Cincinnati and last year I gave her about 100 or so cards that I had gotten in a trade. The munchkins loved the cards. I posted a message on here asking for more and a few heroes sent me almost 2000 cards! I threw in a Eggerrin James bobble head into the lot and my sis used the cards as a incentive: best attendance, most improved,ect ect. One kid who received a game used card actually cried when Barb gave it to him! I know because of Gary people here are leary and I understand that. My ebay id is Deadmike247. I do not collect or sell Basketball cards. In fact the only set I own is a 1993 Classic draft picks gold with Chris Webber and Jamal Mashburn auto's that I bought off of shop at home back in the day.....Damn you Don West. Please if you have any Basketball cards you don't care about I know a few munchkins who would love them. All I can offer in return is a smile and thank you notes from the kids. Mike

    Guys, this is a great cause that Mike is helping his sister out with. I sent a bunch of cards to him and got a great thank you letter from his sister's class. I got a whole lot more GU and auto cards I'm sending your way Mike.

    It sounds pretty good.

    Not to sure about the pepers though

    I, too, am a teacher and can vouch for Mike and his sister . . . kids love this stuff!

    My wife always asks, "What about the girls?"

    I just shrug and say, "What about 'em?"

    Just wondering, though, Mike . . . Why only basketball?

    OT: I write to all NCAA, MLB, NFL, and NBA teams requesting free stuff. The response is overwhelming.

    I will admit, though, some of the stuff doesn't quite make it to the kids!

    The kids just don't like Baseball at all! I offered my sister some Griffey's and she said all the kids want is Basketball cards and some football-Mostly Bengals. As far as the girls go they were just as happy-they wanted the cards of the "cute" players. LOL That brought back some memories as my sis used to have a crush on Mets pitcher Neil Allen. Growing up I had a crush on Marcia Brady...yea me and millions of other people. And the actress who played Angelique on Dark Shadows. I remember running home every day after school so I wouldn't miss an Episode. Mike
