You recieved an epostcard/ecard (DoNot Open this!!!)

Fellow PSA members, lately I've been getting alot of epostcards in my junk mail from people I do not know. I just delete them, however today I thought I would open one up just to see it. Yep just as I thought, their is a spyware attached to them, without the proper virus protection installed in your computer, this thing automatically uploads on to your computer without you even knowing it, 15 seconds is all it takes. When the next time you log on to your ebay account, the person can see your transaction and History. In some cases, you'll have your computer left on and you'll notice the arrow key moving around. This is because their is an intruder looking at your account without you knowing it. Be safe and I repeat do not open any ecard/ epostcard that has been sent that you do not know. Just delete it. But if you have already opened it and nothing happened, the chances are you might have spyware attached in your computer. Check your hard drive and files and if you find it delete it immediately.

Good point. I had a LOT of spyware on my computer a couple of weeks ago, to the point that my wife's cousin (an IT geek) spent about 5 hours on it to remove everything. I remember I may have opened one of these such emails (not clicking on the link, just opening the email), but who knows - maybe that's enough to cause this crap to get on there.

Probably a good point to change my ebay password periodically.....

I have an online spam filter that picks up viruses and it has been LOADED with these with the email subject saying anything from a friend has sent to a worshipper has sent an e-card.

Not sure where they are all coming from but by reading your post I now know I am not the only one getting these.
