    I have to note that four of the explorers mentioned in the bottle's history are included in the 25-card T118 series "The World's Greatest Explorers" - a series I recently completed raw. These guys...

  • I smell a bit of fraud here. If they were going to the Arctic, why would they need a beer that could withstand "arctic and subarctic temperatures"? Temperatures in the Arctic can't reach "subarctic", or they would just be "arctic" temperatures.image

    for $500,000 i could get enuff beer to hold me the rest of my life,1 beer, better have the eternal buzz in it-wow,beer collectors,i coud never keep it around long enuff to collect!!!!!!

    Especially on an item with so much historical significance.
    So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

    now i didnt read the description since its so long but the label on the bottle does not look 155 years old. the bottle may be, but the label looks alot newer than that. plus beer bottle labels werent produced until the 1860s from what i know. so something doesnt add up here. jsut my .02

    True. But, the Wagner's seem to keep going up...lots of crazy card collectors out there....on the other hand this may be the only half million dollar bottle of beer I ever see sold!
