Ted Williams Card, what is it, what's it worth?

Hi, I'm new to this forum, I usually hang out with the coin geeks. I have this card, it measures about 8 1/2 x 11 inches. Anyone have a clue if its worth anything? Should I spend the money to have it graded? Thanks in advance.

Beautiful card! Grading probably wont help the value much, it's just so great as it is. Just my opinion, others may disagree. Just protect it.

Alright then. I will give it a shot. I see an autograph. I see a serial number of 175 of 521. There is some sort of alternate # on the front of the card. On the back at the bottom i see another serial number for the card itself. Value?? If you think it is not worth anything, send it to me. If you think it's worth something, send it to PSA.

    From the big book:

"By mailing in 15 low series foil wrappers, a completed order form, and a handling fee, the collector could receive an 8 1/2" by 11" numbered, black and white lithograph picturing Ted Williams in his batting swing."

No is price given within that description.
  • It was originally a wrapper redemption as stated in the previous post, Upper Deck then bought some of them back, had Ted sign them, and sold them in the Upper Deck Authenticated catalog, hence the UDA hologram on the bottom of the front. image

No need to get it Psa/dna'd as it is authenicated already. I dunno who slabs cards that size I'd put the value at 250-400 400 being high end. Nice piece.
