1962 topps record cards

can anyone offer some info on this set? i ran across some of these today in mostly MINT condition!!!

these are about 5" x 5", green, and are records. koufax and robinson are 2 of the big names i saw. the robby looked MINT and the koufax had one dinged corner and 3 razor sharp. i think these were 33 1/3 rpm records. does psa grade these?

Thanks,

David (LD_Ferg)

I think they are called Aurora vision or something close. They are pretty common simular to topps Giants
USN 1977-1987 * ALL cards are commons unless auto'd. Buying Britneycards. NWO for life.
  • I believe they are called Auravision Record Cards and they are from 1964. I have Whitey Ford, Al Kaline, Warren Spahn, Frank Robbie and Jim Gentile. They don't sell for much. Not sure if it's low demand or high supply because I really don't see them too often.

These Records are not hard to find -I believe a hoard of these were found like the 1964 Topps giants.

thanks guys. i appreciate the quick responses. does psa grade these? i don't see any 1964 aurora or similar in the pop reports.

i remember the copyright on these being 1962 and a gentile, and ken boyer as well as koufax and robby. would you happen to have a scan?

    Thanks,

They're on ebay on a semi-regular basis - they usually don't sell for very much although it certainly seems like a cool item. Most offered seem to be in nice condition. I've never seen one PSA graded or ever graded.
