National pics

Here are a few pics from the national, some blury, sorry. eTopps and PSA were the most busy booths by far. 707 had a very impressive selection of PSA graded cards. The autograph lines were off the hook, wish i was a Cleveland fan.

Enjoy, Cory

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

Who are the dealers in the second pic? It looks like Mastro and possibly Wayne Varner.

i wonder if somebody is going to pull the hallowed 4-in-1 autograph, sell it for big bucks and the buyer later find out it's 100% non-authentic...

    hey is ud there?

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to come. With obligations during the week and going to the HOF induction Saturday, I can't make it to the National until Sunday...and its driving me crazy waiting! I do like going the last day of shows with the hope dealers will be more willing "to deal" since it is the last day.... but I have had the "Jimmy Leg" all day knowing it is going on and I am not there!

I know where you're coming from. I am going tomorrow and I'm all wound up. My wife is dropping me at the door at 10:00 and picking me up at 5:00. She has instructions not to call unless there is blood or gun shots.

That's hilarious. Nice catch of the Men's room sign.

I've been to two National's in Cleveland. It's a pretty nice facility and pretty easy to find. Plenty of parking too. Too bad I couldn't make it this year either. A couple of good friends of mine are set up there and I'm hoping to get some National news by Friday night.

If I hear anything interesting, I'll post it here.
  • Where is the National next year?

    Thanks, JW

I attended the PSA set registry luncheon. Anyone who had RSVPed on attending the luncheon and was a set registry winner was announced and presented their certificates by Joe Orlando himself. Gary Daggett had four top sets. When his name was announced, no one came up to claim his certificates. image
