printing plate 1/1 sent in june special-got back no grade-why?

i sent in a printing plate 1/1 from 2006 upper deck artifacts with a bunch of other stuff in the june special,but it was sent back-no grade-any idea why?i see no doifference than grading a reg card or auto card in the special that they did than grading this plate, i dont get it?anybody else get a plate back?Randy imageimageimage

    I've heard that they don't grade them because they damage the holder, but I'm not sure if that's true.

    I would contact Customer Service....there is only one printing plate in a PSA slab on eBay and it is marked as "Authentic". If you don't mind, would you post the response from Customer Service....I would like to know myself since I have considered having one graded. Thanks.

    yeah ill definatly have to do that, ill have another one coming back from em then ungraded, i never thought about that, ill have to see what service you have have to submit the stupid thing s under,ive never seen one graded either now that you mentioned it, ill try and call em today, im waiting fro a call from the national show today,if he gets to me before 5:00 i can give em a call

    at least you got a voucher. I have never even held a printing plate, does it need to be a thick holder?

    No, they are extremely thin.

    lol, yeah im up to 4 vouchers coming from 150 cards ive gotten back so far-300+ cards sent,so not bad average so farfor my luck!,the plates are just real thin pieces of aluminum,i dont know they had to be sent in some super secret special way,regualar maybe? i dont see any diff than grading this than grading all the cards and autographed cards i sent in for june?
