My all-time favorite Mexican design...

I think I'm getting a hang of my new lens, plus found another toner to shoot (my all-time favorite Mexican design). Old cleaning, but nice re-toning happening. Some *spoon* scratched a "V" above Nike's head, but it doesn't detract much.

    Very nice image and coin Roman. Older circulated Mexico Coinage is great. I have not imaged any of mine yet but will soon.

    I like the design as well (although it's a toss-up between this design and the Caballito for my favorite).

    Is it just me or were the VAST majority of these 2 Pesos cleaned? I've never come across one that was truly original.

    NICE! May I ask how you get the pictures so supersized?

    Or do you use a photobucket-type link?

    All I know how to do is upload directly to CU, but there's just no way getting around the 50kb limit they impose. I've tried to learn about this super-sizing from archived threads, but without success. image

    For the rare pictures I post I use photobucket. If you right click on the gorgeous pictures above you can see the link there too. Others use their own servers I'm sure, or other hosting sites, but photobucket is good for me. (free and easy)

    My camera captures images at 3456x2304 pixels, so I had to size them down before posting. The top image, containing both sides is 1000x500, while individual ones are 1000x1000. As Cathy pointed-out, Photobucket works great for hosting.

    coinpictures - I am yet to see an un-cleaned one in dealer's inventory. To think of it - I haven't seen a toned Caballito, as well.

    You missed the one below I posted back in June. image Currently at ICG awaiting grading. You're absolutely right though, this one was the first toned example I'd ever seen. They all come blast white or harshly cleaned...
