Help With 4SC

Good day,
I won 2 PSA cards last Thurs from 4SC and then I won 2 more on Friday morning. They have sent me two different invoices with the first with shipping of $6 for the two PSA's and the second with additional shipping of $8 for the next two. According to there listings the shipping should be combined if won within one week for a total of $8.25 not $14.00. I have e-mailed them twice since Friday morning (Fri. Morning & Friday Afternoon) asking them to fix the invoice so I can pay ASAP with Paypal but have recieved no reply or new invoice. Does somebody have any ideas,, Help??

4sc has several eBay IDs. If the cards were won from the different IDs then you cannot combine shipping.

I've bought many times from 4sc and it's been the same everyway. It's listed in their auction listings as well.

Arny is 100% right that if it's separate IDs you won't get combined shipping.

I've bought from the various IDs many times and always been happy. They're good about combining shipping within the same ID. You'll be OK, just give them a couple days.

They will ALWAYS combine shipping as long as it is from the same seller ID. If your winnings were from the same ID, just send an email to 'Please combine the winnings from that ID'. They will usually send an updated invoice within a day.

as mentioned by several others if it is with the same id you will have no problem. you can make a manual adjustment with paypal where it asks for any shipping discounts and apply the correction to make your total bill accurate.

if you have purhcases from 4sc, 4sc2 and 4sc-baseball each one will have to stand on its own.

I just had the same problem for the first time ever with 4SC-2. Items I won from the same ID (4SC-2), within a week of each other they sent separate invoices which normally they don't do (to me at least)..I sent 3 e-mails over a weeks time asking them to please combine them into one order and they never responded or did it. I eventually just paid the first invoice with the regular shipping, and manually reduced the shipping on the 2nd order.

If it is the same ID, then you can combine shipping for a period of up to a week or more, as long as you pay them in one invoice. This has been my experiance anyhow.

When I purchase cards from them over various days and I do not get a combined invoice, I just make sure my shipping total
equals what I am supposed to pay. I have never had a problem from them doing it this way. And as the others have said,
they have to be from the same ID.

I'm having the same problem. I buy lots of items form their different ID's and they are great at updating my invoice's, but this time it's been three days and they haven't been updated.
I wonder if someone is on vacation??

Good day,
As asked, all 4 items are won from the same 4SC ID so shipping discount should apply. I had forgot about the National and hopefully they are all just busy and will get back to me on Mon. or Tues. As for making the manual adjustments myself to the invoice to discount the shipping, I am not sure what your refering to. I can't change anything in the invoices they send me as with most. I need a new combined invoice.

Are you using PayPal? There should be a line after the total for "additional seller charges or discounts" (something like that). You can subtract the shipping discounts there. People do that to me all the time when they pay quickly before I can get the invoice sent to them.

It does drive me crazy that they have this seperate ID nonsense. If it's the same seller (and it is) then why create the bad feelings with potential buyers by gouging them like that? They charge $4.00 for one graded card, and it often arrives with about a dollar's worth of postage on it and no DC. And, they use the "self-insurance" stickers to avoid paying postal insurance. With as cheap as some of their items go for, I think shipping is a major profit source for them.

Safe assumption that s/h is their profit maker.
When you win 11 cards and they charge 10.00 (8.00 for 3 auctions and 25 cents for each additional) for s/h and extra for insurance its easy to assume that 6.00-7.00 of that is profit.

10000 graded cards/month x 1.00 s/h profit per/card =

10k pft/month on shipping.........

Your right and I'm an idiot. I went to my Paypal and right clicked and got the little discount box to open and typed in the $-5.75 and recalculated and got the correct total and paid.

I've been buying from 4SC for probably 5+ years now, and they typically always update the invoices to combine items..For whatever reason, they didn't do it with my most recent purchases...As others have stated, must be getting prepped for the National or on vacation or something.

I don't forsee an issue with sending the 2 separate payments as I did with adjusted shipping. I've never had a problem with them either, well over 100 transaction across all their IDs..
