Busting some '99 football "wax" tonight, this card caught my eye. Look at the description.

They may as well just said "Okay who are we trying to kid? This guy guy flat out sucks"

Well in college getting sacked counts as negative rushing and a rushing attempt so his poor stats there are more likely the result of having no offensive line to protect him.

He was actually their fallback plan if Akili Smith was not the guy. Then they brought in the talented Scott Mitchell and poor Covington didn't have a chance. No QB in that system ever really had a chance.
