which card of the same player would get preference or have more weight? a PSA 7 w/no qualifiers or a PSA 8 w/off-center qualifier? thanks

A qualifier knocks off 2 points so the 8 would be worth less.

Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

what mark said, so a psa 8oc would be a 6,the 7 is better!

thanks for replies. so i guess my next question would be if the 8(oc) is basically equal to a 6, then why wouldn't PSA just grade it a 6?(you can see i'm no expert in this). reason for asking is i've seen cards that are graded a 6 that are also noticeably off-center.

they will ,but you have to request NO QUALIFIERS on your submission form when you are sending it in,write it up at the top of the sheet is what i do,otherwise you will get qualifiers, i forget sometimes they have so much paperwork for ya to do lol,and have to do the qualifiers again!!
