For thick cards I think they have to start at the $15 service level or the $13 special right now. They can be on the same invoice as regular thickness cards at the same service level, though in most cases I have sent them in separate from regular cards. My last $13 special one or two came back in the thicker holders. I didnt think that they were any thicker than cards they were slabbing before so you might be able to send in a mix as long as its on the same service level.

I put them in a team bag, fold over the excess bag and put in a CSI.

  • Websire says to use CS IV's for thick cards. Price vary's depending on service level.

  • I submitted patch cards in magnetic one touches - as long as you write on the form that you give them permission to take them out of the cases, then you will be ok (my order went in the problem pile because they needed my permission - I wouldve thought me sending them in would have been permission but clearly not).

When I received the graded cards back, they also sent back the one touches in the package.
  • Did you give them permission to cash your check? You might have something there. lol

Thats crazy tho. "Uh Bob, its in a sealed magnetic holder, uh..... I need permission for these right?, These are on the controlled holder list.... form 4022?"

  • hil33- How were your grades? I wanted to do the same thing, but didn't, for fear of an "inconvenienced" grader taking it out on my cards.

Yup, I sent in a $13.00 per sub for my thick cards last week with our tall boys Troy.

Grades were fine .. 7 cards from memory - 3x 10's, 3x 9's and an 8 which all were expected.
