You have nothing to worry about. I'm sure the Portugese police will look into it if the cards never arrive.

write him back and tell him he must send you his picture or something stupid.

see how long you can string him along.

You should forward his email to a Nigerian scammer image

    Hello,

In order to transfer out £30,000,000.00 (Thirty Million Pounds
Sterling)from our bank here I have the courage to look for a reliable
and honest person who will be capable for this important transaction,
believing that you will never let me down either now or in future. my
name is Mr.Katz Robert, I am the auditor and head of computing
department of a bank here in Scotland,United Kingdom. There is an
account opened in this bank in 1995 and since my inception into office
in 2001, nobody has operated on this account again, after going through
some old files, I discovered that if i do not remit this money out
urgently, it will be forfeited for nothing.

    I will use my position
and influence on other staffs to effect the legal approvals and onward
ransfer of this money to your account with appropriate clearance from
foreign payment department. With assurance that this money will be
intact pending my physical arrival in your country for the haring and
    possible investments.

You stand to get 25% of the total sum while 5%
will be for expenses that will be encured during the process of this
tranfer and the remaining 70% will be for me.

I will fill you in with
further details upon your reply God bless.please reply immediately.

    With Regards,

    Mr.Katz Robert

image Well I started off with this simple reply.. I dont want to overwhelm him at first...

"Sounds GREAT! Thank You for thinking of me! What else do you have? I would like to buy much more than $30 worth of cards! Thanks, Paul"

  • When he replies (because he will), sign the next email with a different name and change the price (something like 'okay, $14.00 for those old cards and...')

also, ask him if he has any cards of your favorite player, Haywood Jablome`
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

It's been a busy couple of days for the emailers. I got this one last night:
    -------------
Hello , I ran across 4 cards in a 1912 spalding baseball guide that your collection currently shows you need. I am not a collector and have no idea the condition or value of these but if your intereased I can scan or photo them. The cards are
    a close play bender thomas
    cheif bender waiting for
    nearly caught bates bescher
    and
teeny lands safely latham and raymond.
    --------------

Subject line was "T-202's for sale." I find it interesting that someone would post they are not a collector, yet are emailing me because of my T-202 set registry on the PSA site.
