Overall, not severely disappointed.
1- Ryan: This was a crack and resubmit from a previous 7 optained back in Mar/Apr. For the life if me, I cannot see how this card cannot at least be an 8... great centering and only 1 very slightly frayed corner. I have several commons from 72 that got an eight that look the same or a bit worse than this Ryan. Oh well, no sense selling it at a 7, especially with the high number of 72 Ryan's on ebay driving down the price recently.
2- Montana RC: About what I expected... probably gonna hold it as it won't bring big $$$ because of the OC, and he is one of my favorite players after all.
3- Bird/Magic RC: Was really pulling for a 9, but this one looked really similar to an 8 I had graded a few months back, so not really that surprised this one came back 8 as well. Will be putting of 1 of my 2 8's up on ebay in the next few weeks.
Now... eagerly awaiting my 135 card sub from late June. Probabaly gonna be another month, but I'm hoping for a miracle
This one is really my first "thought out" sub. My first 100-carder was just eye-balled and I really didn't know what I was doing. Still got 5 10's: 4 from 84 Donruss and a '87 Topps Jerry Rice, but I'm hoping to better on this one. It's a mix of everything from vintage baseball HOFer's back to 1960, a bunch more 84 Donruss HOFers, and about 30-40 '72 Topps commons. Even through in some 72-72, and 86-88 Basketball and a few tough football (like from 85) just to get an idea on how those will grade, as I have a bunch more. Anyway, this one will really set the tone for me on how I approach selling off my collection. If relatively succesful, I'll continue down the PSA path. If not, I'll likely lot up most of the rest of what I have and sell it raw.
