This might seem really stupid but...

I was thinking about sending some cards through the mail to get signed for my girlfriend. She's a huge Steeler fan so it's tough to get some autos since we're 18+ hours away and I don't have the money to go buy online. My main question is does anyone have any experience with when to get the players to sign through the mail? I've sent TTM for baseball during spring training and the turn around is great. Is it the same for football? Is training camp/ preseason the way to go? Any advice appreciated.

    Need to know because training camp starts in about a week. Also, do I send to the training camp site or to the stadium?

    Hey bro, sup? anywho -send the cards to the training camp, make sure you enclose a sase blah blah. Send to the rookies and lesser known players. Actually you should have the GF write them. Your friend, Mike

    Yeah I think I'll send em to the camp. I hope she gets one of the big guys to sign but shes so obsessed with the team that anyone will do haha. I'm definitely still seeking Braves and Devil Rays with some bucs (for me) and steelers on the side. Im just lucky because Bucs training camp is only an hour and 15 min. away at disney. Shes already planning on decorating the letters (whatever that means) so shes really into it. She even bought and opened up her first box ever tonight. It was retail 2006 topps football but she had a blast and got 2 or 3 Steelers inserts. Very very lucky to have a GF who puts up with this hobby/addiction.image
