Anyone bought old unopened baseball from "bbcardstor" on ebay?

Looks like they've got really good feedback, but at least the first 10 pages of it are for mostly 2007 stuff and an occasioanal really old single card. They've got a couple of unopened cases from the early 80's I'm looking at but have yet to see any feedback on unopened stuff.

Has anyone ever bought unopened cases/boxes from them at all... especially from 1980-85? I know rack packs are highly sussectable to searching, but they have a "sealed" rack case from '81 that I'm hoping will not be searched through.

Never dealt with them, but racks are definitely the best source (along with wax) for high grade cards, and racks are far more difficult to tamper with than wax.

There's been a recent find of 1982 Donruss wax cases (20 boxes/case) that are hitting ebay now at about $1,300 a case.

Over 14,000 transactions with a 99.8% overall, and 4.9 for item as described and you're worried?
  • Not really worried with that rating, but just curious that they don't seem to be in the unopened vintage business. Seem pretty legit to me though... sealed case, the boxes should be easy to tell if they were searched, and like you say, pretty much impossible to tamper with the actual rack pack itself... which is why I think raks are the way to go if you're pretty sure they haven't been searched.

And not to forget the main reason you're safe is that there is no one to search for in 1981 Topps baseball. lol

Raines and Baines and I would disagree with that assessment.
