Yes, Steph/gary is wrong. That is besides the point. A lot of great cards/players/sets were issued during the heyday. Dealers were ripoffs back then of course. Is cheating wrong? Yes,when you boo Barry but not when you get Gaylord..heh..heh to sign your Baseball-would you be mad if he smudged it? How weird is it 2 dig thru the trash to find gem mint 10's of so called garbage? The only reason Baseball cards from way back are worth so much money is because they were TOYS! duh. They still are. Poor people who really LOVE Mickey Mantle could care less if the card they have is real/reprint/fake whatever. If they paid a dollar why WOULD they care? I typed Gaylord. Nothing wrong with that. Drumk

    I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

    I really like Nolan Ryan but I would be pretty pissed off if I found out that a card that I purchased of him was a reprint or a fake, even if it was just a dollar.
