What in the world is a non-refractor/refractor?

Im gonna hit this card for my Joe Germaine master set
so no-one try and snag it or I'll hunt you down
So which is it, a refractor or not? Maybe the grader wasnt sure either?

Did the seller show the back?
<< <i>almost looks like germaine is a non-refractor and the scrub guy is a refractor, I don't buy new stuff so I can/will be way wrong at times! Maybe it's a no-protector refractor? >>
"scrub guy"
I think your right about the card though

I think it refers to those rumors going around at one time about our boy Troy. Kind of like AC/DC. A little too much towel snapping and sword fighting if you know what I mean.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

<< <i>I just remembered that these came with one or both sides as a refractor, so there are a bunch of combos available. >>
Spot on. There is a nonrefractor/refractor, and the other way around is a refractor/nonrefractor. Not so sure if both sides is a refractor/refractor.
Refractor / Refractor
Refractor / Non-Refractor
Non-Refractor / Refractor
Non-Refractor / Non-Refractor
Additionally, PSA recognizes these cards as coated or non-coated based on if the Finest coating has been peeled. Making a total of (8) combinations. Totally crazy....

Peeled or non-peeled is logical to track seperate, but you should only need one for the registry.
