Congrats on the lovely coin. If it weren't for that slightest rub, you would have a really nice MS coin.

Jon for the most part I really like the dimes you get. What I will say on this one is that I hope it is better looking in hand.

Hey,, It's an 1896-S ,,, Very tough coin to find in this condition... I never have seen a mint state one before... Not that I have seen that many before anyway..

Tough coin or not. That makes no difference. What makes a difference is whether it fits into the overall look of the collection that Jon is putting together. This coin looks strange compared to many others he has purchased. Again I hope it looks better in hand.

My favorite date in the series. I too hope this one looks better than the image. The toning pattern on the reverse kept me from bidding. It sounds like you were happy with your recent 1906-D also from DLRC and the image on that one also kept me away. I think I should start taking a few more chances with DLRC with their images...
