Boy was i surprised! I figured3-4 10's and the rest 9's-- got 1 10 , 4 9's and even 2 8's and 2 7's

Don't feel bad about the Etopps--I don't think we'll ever see a 10 on his Etopps rookie.

Im not sure about that particular card but alot of the other eTopps cards have minor surface flaws.

I sub'd a 2001 Emmitt with a minor surface issue and the grader let it slide and it received a 10.

Matt is correct. The 04 Roethlisberger is notorious for having flaws. Something to do with the quality of the material they printed the cards on, I've seen dozens of these cards that wouldn't get a 9, let alone a ten.
