Did anyone else know this bit of Baseball Card Trivia???

Did anyone else know that The Jays' Vernon Wells' dad painted paintings for baseball cards?
There was a story on the news about how Wells' dad painted a painting of Frank Thomas' 500th homer and presented it to him. I thought about it, and checked my old Upper Decks and lo and behold a Vernon Wells Sr. is the name on the Collectors Choice painted cards!

Not only that but Vernon Sr. painted Vernon Jr. into a card!
That's Vernon Jr. in the bottom right there. Does that mean it's his rookie card? HA

If anyone else knew this, please excuse my amazement.

(PS Come to think of it I think Vernon Sr. also painted The Unabomber into the card as well.)

I dont think Wells liked Turner too much either. Look at the guy right behind him getting ready to "Tomahawk Chop" his head
