Anyone see any cards inside supermarkets?

Anyone see and interesting Food Premium sports or non sports cards at their local supermarket???
Because of the crazy hot weather, I like to cruise inside the supermarket to cool off and check to see if
they have any interesting cards on backs of boxes of cereal and stuff. So far, I found the Caprisun has
some mail in spiderman 3 cards, Cheese Nips have 3 Motion cards of Spiderman 3 on front of their box.
There some cool new Wheaties boxes, nothing worth slabbing.... anyone see anything of interest?

What do you use to cruise the store with? One of those old people Larks? That would be cool image
  • Interesting thread. I used to buy stuff that had the free cards just because it was free. Not so much anymore.

Aside from the Spiderman ones you mentioned. There is a mini bat from Nestle Drumsticks (and other ice creams?)

Was Nascar cards on the one lb box of margarine about a year ago. Sorry little late.

Heard about the Topps cards in Pepsi, but have yet to see them.

Do you guys remember back in 87 or 88 wonder bread, put those cards in the bread? I used to sit on the grocery store floor for hours and open every loaf of bread and take the card out.

Now thinking back on that, nobody stopped me, probably because at the time, I did not think I was doing anything wrongimage

I also made my mom make Kraft Mac and Cheese every night, because of the home plate heroes cards on the box.

    Ahh, good times!!!
  • Oh yes many memories.....a few I remember from 87-92 ish

I ate my share of Devil Dogs back in 92-93 because of the Fleer Shaq rookies. The last box I bought that year had the Shaq rookie showing and I kept the pack sealed.
    Looking for Carl Willey items.
