New zero feedback seller has an Aaron, Gehrig, and Jordan.

Lucky guy or stolen scans?

54 Aaron PSA 9

34 Goudey Gehrig PSA 8

    Nothing to worry about, PayPal offers up to a whopping $200 in Buyer protection. That and he's a really nice guy, just ask his mom.

    I dunno, but that Aaron hardly looks like a 9 !
    Especially with the whole top border missing .

    But he's a really nice guy , just ask his mom . . . .

    I asked him for a scan of the back of the card.

    card doesn't have a top border?????????????????

    on the Gehrig and the Jordan, he couldn't read the scan clear enough to type in the correct serial #

    and 54 cards don't have top borders do they?

    When you try to add the cert for the Aaron to a registry set, it comes back as already in another set.. There are only a few sets with the Aaron in 9--Brancas set, Fogel' sets...possibly Donald Spences set. I'm guessing it's one of theirs.
    Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    LOL. there is no top border on 54 topps.

    I doubt the cards are his and probably will end badly for someone trying to get some high dollar cards at a discount. One things for sure, everytime some idiot seller with zero feedback starts selling high dollar items. There will be equal idiot buyers that truely believe that this time it is the real deal.

    I suppose the collecting world may never know how much time and trouble these boards may have saved some people . . .

    Especially on that 1930 Babe Ruth Contract .

    The only thing different about that guy was that his mom don't think he's such a great guy .
