Block this Bidder - jocelyn123chris

Won't go into details, but he bid on an item (110137568482) then left me a negative for opening a dispute. Gets real crude in the dispute thread, as well...go figure?

If you need details, let me know....

already on my list. this is why i'm a fan of sharing blocked lists. to prevent fellow board members from going through unnecessary suck.
    Currently Buying:
2004 Tommie Harris SPX Printing Plate (White Whale will pay top $$$)
1994 SP Football Die Cuts PSA 10s
  • unfortunately you had to take one for the team, but his feedback now shows a history of not paying for auctions and giving retaliation feedbacks to those sellers. I don't think his feedback will hurt you, but your feedback and experience with him will hurt him more than he'll ever know.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

  • i haven't utilized the block list yet. i will start with this bidder. i am starting to list some of my ozzie extras in order to pay for grading fees and i would rather not deal with these people.

Let's hope so. I have also filed with Trust & Safety on eBay based on the recommendation from their on-line support. I am hoping to get him kicked off of eBay and get the feedback removed. We'll see....

Sounds brutal, sorry you had to go through that.

Just added this guy as my first blocked bidder.
  • If I'm listing a high value card on ebay, I'll state in my auction that "I reserve the right to refuse bids from questionable buyers" or state that you must not have a certain amount of negs in a certain amount of time. I've seen this done by other sellers and I guess I'm wondering if this is within ebay policy and if it's frowned upon by others?

ebay i.d. clydecoolidge - Lots of vintage stars and HOFers, raw, condition fully disclosed.
  • You can say that all you want but it is entirely unenforceable. If you catch them early you can cancel thrie bids and block them, but if the snipe you have little choice.
  • I dont state it in my auctions, but I will verify all zero ranked bidders, just send them a friendly email. and/or verify their contact information. Ive weeded out many problem buyers.
