David, I just noticed that he is from our neck of the woods. Seems he buys a lot of unopened packs, autos, etc. Feedback looks pretty good. Let's bid!image

Love this one...that darn Mom, if she's not throwing out shoeboxes filled with vintage cards, she's unsealing wax packs for the gum!

Group break anyone? Just kidding that thing will probably go for more than my dad's salary.

It may be a legit pack but it will NOT contain a T206 baseball card. The scan shows Factory no 30, 4th dist. North Carolina.

The T206's for factory no 30 were only 2nd district in New York.

The only North Carolina pack for T206's were factory 42 district 4.

It just does not math up.

Sorry to bust any bubbles but I do not think it will contain a T206 card.

    Best of luck,

    Bob

LOL< I love the "pre-auction estimate" angle....he neglects to say that he had just purchased the pack from another seller for about $600 before flipping it.

    Well . . .let's see .
The guy is sellin on E-Bay , If he thought there was a ghost of a chance of that card being inside there, he'd have opened it .

    Let's see . . .would I open it ? Yupp I would .
Would you open it ? Yupp you would .
I guess that answers the question to, I wonder if that Honus Wagner card is inside there .

    I/M/O of course .

These packs show up on ebay on a regular type of basis. These packs either contain no card or if it contains a card, it will likely be a non-baseball card. Even if it did contain a baseball card, it will likely be stained or damaged. Cool item but not even close to being worth the money in my opinion.

A Honus Wagner in there? Yea, and I'll discover an oil well or gold mine in my backyard.

Very well worded to cover his rear.

    1) No mention of it being sealed or not
    2) No mention of a card being in there
    3) Uses the phrase "COULD MATCH UP W/ THE PACKS---THE FAMOUS 2 MILLION DOLLAR $2,000,000 T206 HONUS WAGNER CAME OUT OF"

    Buyer beware.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

I bet it's not even holding a card, or it has a "fish card" in there image

If it was so good, I would rather open it up my self...Why would I want someone to get the Wagner for a few hundred bucks.

Definitely a cool accompanying piece for T206 collectors, but if anyone plans on getting lucky and making some quick money on this pack, they should have stopped bidding long ago. It may still be cheaper than buying a fresh pack of Marlboro in Canada these days though.

I have heard some stories from dad ( a collector) that not even all packs made in specific areas ended up with a card in them. Again this is hear say. His dad told him that they bought Cracker Jacks in the teens and remember not getting a card inside. Accidents do happen.
