What's your favorite non-Topps card issue for any sport?

My current favorite is 1968 Bazooka baseball. Technically, that's not Toppsimage

I also like the 1972 Sunoco football stamps, although my luck buying packs on Ebay has been poor.

Thoughts and scans are appreciated.

Robert

Good lord, I never saw Y.A. with hair upside his noggin! I wonder if that is an artist rendition with a bit of creative license being used?

Anyhow, my vote, 1935 National Chicle or 1948 Leaf. Hard to go wrong with the Bowman selections above though and there are a ton of vintage oddball releases that rock too. You know what... I can't pick just one, it's like asking us to pick between the foxes in perkdog's sig.

I totally love the 55 Bowman football set. One day I may start a collection.

The 1944 American Beauties are unbelievable as well. Too expensive for my blood.

1935 National Chicle is a very nice set. I collect the baseball version (Diamond Stars).
