PSA Grading on rough cut early Donruss cards

Is there any consistency to how these are graded? As far as mint cards that are obviously cut with a dull blade? But also, specifically, what about cards that have that extra piece of another card on the corner that didn't get severed - like a fluffy chunk in addition to the standard size of a card. (And the opposite - a little piece missing from the corner). Are cards like this submittable or will they get killed? I would hate to send a in a stack of these and get 6's and 7's instead of 9's.

Any advice?
I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy!

Best advice would be to start small and see how they do. Send in a few of each ilk and see how they come back. Compare them to the rest and then make another submission. I've done that in the past and have been very glad I did.

I think you can get 9s with either a rough cut or a corner tab, but is it even worth it? Unless you're talking about RCs of Ripken, Mattingly, Clemens, Gwynn, Boggs, or Sandberg, I'm thinking you could get PSA 9s of any other card for less than the cost of grading.

    rough cuts won't kill you.

Extra or missing chunks of cards likely will get downgraded (with missing chunks being severe)
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

Has anyone ever sent in an 88 Score BB card from the early production batch that had sever corner issues. I wonder how those ones would grade??

I am dealing with the 1978 Kiss cards. I have opened a couple of boxes, with good results except for the rough cuts. PSA 8's and 9's are worth grading from this set. I just don't want to get stuck with 7's or below...
