That's what's amazing. I'd LOVE to have that card, but if someone offered me $3,800 for it.... it would be a no-brainer. I wonder what the reserve is... $7 million?

A couple days ago I asked him what his reserve was and he responded that "We do not reveal our reserves" I really hate that. All that does is piss people off, like me.

What's the point of keeping it a secret? The objective is to sell the card, right?
Maybe he set a rediculous reserve price to just test the waters to see how high folks would bid it up to.
up to $7,100 with half an hour to go. Reserve has been met.

Well, cbailey is actually Dave Bailey, who buys on behalf of Dmitri Young. So it is not exactly Dmitri, but his buying agent.
Weird, because I thought I recalled Bailey buying the first OPC Eckersley PSA 10 for his client...
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

thanks for clarifying....i was pretty sure about that fact, as i had dealings with them in the past....my most recent transaction with them ended with the receipt of Dmitri's own check....up until then i only knew of the connection from info being posted here
I don't know about you guys, but I think it's kind of cool that Dmitri Young collects cards. I know he pays what we think are outrageous prices, but he could be spending his money on worse things. What do you think?

I know your snipe is in!
<< <i>37 Eck's graded (OPC) with 2 PSA 10s...Wow, what the heck is the reserve? >>
That is 5% of them are being graded PSA 10. I do not think $3800 is a bargain for those numbers.
congrats to the winner
